Team Rubicon is a veteran-led humanitarian organization that mobilizes “Greyshirts” to prepare for, respond to, and help communities recover from disasters across the country. When wildfires rage, floods devastate neighborhoods, or hurricanes leave entire regions in crisis, these teams move in quickly—filling gaps, restoring access, and supporting recovery efforts where traditional resources are stretched thin.

In the field, Al takes part in hands-on operations that make an immediate impact. His work includes clearing debris, assisting with damage assessments, restoring access to affected areas, and supporting rebuilding efforts alongside first responders and local agencies.
